Duration of Advert...

  • All Adverts will remain on the site for a maximum of 3 months. They will then be automatically removed. If you still wish to advertise your Horse/Pony, after this time, you will have to add a new advert.

  • Please help us, by DELETING your advert off our database WHEN your Horse or Pony has been sold. You will find links to the Editing and Deleting of Adverts in the navigation bar on the right of the screen.

  • This ensures that you get no more unwanted calls, which can be frustrating and annoying for all parties concerned, and keeps our database as up to date as possible.


Cost...

  • TOTALLY FREE, unless you feel you would like to make a voluntary contribution, which would be gratefully accepted.

  • You can make a voluntary contribution at any time.

  • The voluntary contribution can be either US$ 10.00 (approx £7.15) or  US$ 17.00 (approx £12.00), depending on your generosity. We leave this totally up to you, and we stress that this is purely voluntary.

  • Your contribution will go towards maintaining The Horse Exchange as a useful equestrian sales site for people selling horses and ponies worldwide.

  • Contributions can be made at any time by clicking on the 'Contributions' link in the side navigation bar.

  • You will then be taken to our 'Contributions ' page, where you can make a contribution by Credit Card through the ClickBank Secure Server that ensures complete Credit Card Security.

Photos...

  • You can have 1 photograph with each advert. The photo is included in the cost of the advert. A photo can be added at any time..
     

  • You can send your photos directly from your computer at any time after entering your advert. Once your ad is entered, go to "Add a Photo" link in the side navigation bar. There you will find full information on how to send your photo, as well as useful hints and tips on scanning and image sizing. 
     

  • We accept photos in .jpg or .jpeg format only.
     

  • PERMISSION: If your photos have been taken by a professional photographer you will need the photographers permission, in writing, for us to use the photo. We do not need to see the signed permission, but it is your responsibility to obtain it if required.

 

And finally...

  • Please complete as much as you can, as accurately and honestly as you can, on the Advertisement Form that you can reach below..

  • The selection boxes use Yes / No / Don't Know. You must select one of these. If you have any additional comments you would like to add, there is a comments section at the end of each heading.

  • If an advert is found to be "Not As Described", we reserve the right to modify or remove the advert from our database. So in the interest of everyone, please be truthful.
     

  • Adverts found to be 'Not as Described' we consider this to be a very serious offence. The advert will be removed and we will comply fully with prosecutions. Please contact us if you see any advert that may not comply.

  • You can change your advert at any time, using the Edit an Advert facility in the side navigation.

  • You can Delete an advert at any time, using the Delete Advert facility in the side navigation.

  • We ask you a lot of questions on the advert form, about your Horse or Pony.
    THIS IS INTENTIONAL      - as we wish to provide potential purchasers with as much relevant information as possible.
     

  • Please ensure that you have read and agree to abide by our Disclaimer, Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.
     

  • Due to a small minority of people who have been adding INAPROPRIATE / OBSCENE CONTENT in their adverts, ALL ADVERTS will now be SCREENED / MODERATED before going live.
    ALSO please ensure that all your name, address and contact details are correct.
    PLEASE NOTE that it may take up to 48 HOURS before your advert goes live.
    We apologise for the inconvenience, but it is in the best interest of all our users.
